Me again...another dog I've fallen in love with wh Me again...another dog I've fallen in love with who was saved in a whirlwind of who, what, when, where, and HOW! Max was surrendered by an owner who gave him very little attention and love - although he is the sweetest boy ever! So he was very confused and scared to find himself in a tiny kennel at the shelter, so we had to find a way to get him out quickly. He's been in boarding for a few months now (not an ideal outcome but beats the alternative) and is really not thriving, so I'm focused on getting him out of there and into a home. Since he's been in boarding so long, he will need to relearn many skills like house training and leash walking - and it would probably be best for everyone if he was the only pet in the home.  We currently have 2 options: we have a trainer who is willing to take him in and work with him so that he can be adopted. But there is a significant cost associated with that so we're trying to raise funds for him (https://gofund.me/67863c260). Our second - and the best - option is to find him a permanent home with someone who has the love and patience to help him thrive! ❤️🐕 Feel free to share with anyone who might be looking for a new BFF!

Help Bryer-Rose Get the Medical Care She Desperate Help Bryer-Rose Get the Medical Care She Desperately Needs Meet Bryer-Rose, a 3-month-old puppy with a bright spirit, despite being deaf and partially blind. Bryer-Rose was a puppy abandoned in the woods, yet she greets every day with boundless love, playful energy, and unwavering affection. A wonderful group of volunteers stepped forward knowing that this sweet girl deserved to live a long, love-filled life. But we've recently found that Bryer-Rose has a serious medical condition. After extensive testing, vets discovered she has an intrahepatic shunt, a congenital liver defect that can cause seizures and affect her overall health. Early intervention is critical—and with prompt treatment, she could go on to live a happy, normal lifespan. Bryer-Rose has been referred to the University of Florida veterinary specialists, where experts will evaluate her and likely perform a coil embolization procedure—a life-saving procedure that will give her the chance she deserves. Her journey so far has already included numerous ER visits, diagnostic testing, a CT scan, and a special prescription diet, and the road ahead is quite costly. But thanks to Beyond The Pack Animal Rescue Team And Sanctuary Inc., a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Bryer-Rose is now in loving, expert care. Bryer-Rose doesn’t know she’s “special” in a medical sense—she’s just a playful, affectionate puppy who wants to love and be loved. She deserves the chance to thrive, not just survive. Blair is a 3-month old puppy who was found as a st Blair is a 3-month old puppy who was found as a stray and brought to my county animal shelter. It was quickly determined that she is deaf and mostly blind. My guess is that she was dumped by an irresponsible breeder who realized she has no monetary value. We knew we had to get her out of the shelter environment so a generous volunteer took her home for a week. Over the course of that week, Blair ended up in the ER three times because of seizures. Beyond The Pack Rescue in Fort Myers stepped up to take her in and get her the best care possible. She is back in the hospital, but the Rescue has paid thousands of dollars for tests and they think they have a diagnosis which will require surgery. So it's not only the time commitment of this Rescue, but they are also financially on the hook for a lot of money just to save this sweet dog who deserves more than any other dog to be loved and live a long healthy life.
