What Is the Best Area to Stay in Cancun?

For most first-time visitors, the best area to stay in Cancun is the Hotel Zone, especially if you want beachfront resorts, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife within easy reach. But not every part of the Hotel Zone offers the same experience. The northern section generally has calmer water, while the eastern and southern beaches are more exposed to waves.
