The Caribbean has been part of my travel life for more than thirty years — and I’m still not tired of it. Not because every island is the same, but because they’re not. Aruba and St. Lucia are as different as two destinations can be. An all-inclusive in Punta Cana and a boutique cliffside resort in Soufrière are entirely different trips. The Caribbean rewards travelers who know what they’re looking for — and punishes those who book blind.
